Z Pesic  
Katana Karate founder and chief instructor, Mr. Pesic began his training in Eastern Europe, at the age of thirteen. He has studied with Sensei Taraku, who was his first teacher, Sensei Ilija Yorga and Sensei Taiji Kase. At the age of seventeen, he obtained his black belt and began to represent his school as a member of the kumite team. Mr.Pesic contributed to his school’s success as they became one of the best in the country at the time, until he joined the army. After his service, before relocating to America, Mr.Pesic held Karate classes within several schools throughout Europe.
E Taraku
Mr.Taraku is a shotokan teacher with over 40 years of teaching experience. He has studied with Sensei Taiji Kase in Europe and Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama in the US, from whom he obtained his 7th dan black belt. During 70 ties and 80 ties, Mr Taraku starred in Yugoslavian cinematography. Some of the movies are “How to Die” and “Dangerous Trail”. Mr. Taraku’s other areas of interest are Budo, Yoga and Zen. In the US, Mr. Taraku owned and operated his Et Shotokan Karate Center, Inc in South Salem where he has taught karate to members of the law enforcement agency. Recently, Mr. Taraku moved back to Austria but he is looking forward to holding Katana Karate seminars for advanced students and belt examinations.

Junior Instructor

Sanya first learned about Shotokan Karate from her father and joined her first karate school at the age of 13. At the same time, she began studying the Japanese language. She teaches kids the basics of Karate through fun, exercises and karate games… Children love the energetic nature of Karate. As well as being a great way of making new friends and keeping fit, Sanya’s classes benefit children by enhancing concentration and self-discipline, teaching children to avoid using violence in confrontation, and aiming to increase self-confidence for students in all situations.
